In London, our community is helping people working in or leaving the oil and gas industry explore what life and work could look like beyond it.
Recently, three of our members, Nick Smith, Jo Alexander and Ian Haslam, joined Ilya Marritz on an NPR podcast to talk about the reality of becoming a “climate quitter”, and the personal experiences that led each of them to step away from the industry.
Their stories highlight that leaving oil and gas isn’t simply about changing jobs. For many, it means rethinking a career, a community and what comes next.
