Life after Oil: Career transition workshop

Are you a current or former oil and gas industry employee who has experienced climate concerns over your and your industry’s activities?
Are you perhaps contemplating a move outside of oil and gas and towards a less carbon-intensive industry with a more sustainable impact?
Or have you already left the oil and gas industry and are trying to shape the next stage of your career?
If any of these apply to you, join one of our online workshops to reflect on your stance on sustainability, consider this in relation to your career, and exchange with peers facing a similar situation, in a supportive and constructive environment.
These workshops will take place online, last two hours, and be held in small groups of up to eight participants. You will be invited to reflect and share your own story, and explore as a group alternative paths towards contributing to a more sustainable future through your career. A live artist will attend the workshop, to capture your story and group reflections.
The workshops form part of a research study led by Dr Fabien Littel (Oxford Brookes University) and Dr Grace Augustine (University of Bath). Your participation is entirely voluntary, and the workshops will be recorded (for research purposes and for future access by the research team only).
